A Second Life

Do you guys believe in second life? I am not referring to the life after death here, but more to a new life after whatever we had before crumbled before our own eyes & vanished into the thin air.

Not everybody is given a second change to rebuild his/her life.. some carry all the suffering to the grave.

Sebenarnya, yang paling sukar bukanlah untuk memulakan hidup baru, tapi utk meninggalkan hidup lama.. utk melepaskan diri dari kehidupan lama. Selagi tidak dimulakan langkah pertama itu, mmg sampai bila2 pon tak mungkin akn dpt memulakan hidup yg baru.

Tapi kadang2 ada jugak yang bernasib baik, segalanya jadi tanpa dirancang.. kehidupana lama tu sendiri yg meninggalkan dia.. maka insan yg telah kehilangan kehidupannya ini tidak mempunyai pilihan lain selain dari memulakan hidup baru, mungkin juga memulakan segala-segalanya semula.

When that happens, mmg la at first you will feel like it's the end of the world.. you'd wish you would die rather than to have to go thru the pain. At this stage, do not fight the sadness.. if you need to cry, then cry.. if you need to grieve, then grieve.. Menangis la sebanyak mana yg anda ingin.. jangan risau, Insya Allah takkan jadi mcm Kassim Selamat :)

When you're done with your grieving, now it's time to pick up all the pieces.. to put everything back on the track. Then everything will fall into the right places.

Banyak cara yang boleh dilakukan utk memulakan semula.. you can join a new community, join a new class.. tak kisah la class ape pon, dance class ker.. pottery class ker.. anything, as long as you meet new people. Kalau lebih ekstrem, maybe you can try to find a new job. If you change your job, mmg almost everything will change accordingly.

I went through all this, I changed job.. meet new friends.. have life that I never lived before.. Akhirnya, semuanya ternyata lebih baik..

And I know, apa yang jadi dulu tu sebenarnya is a blessing in disguise :)
